EVENT INFORMATION

- SOME NEW THINGS FOR TU DANCE:
Here is a PDF (click) of students who get 1 ticket comped, plus whatever amount of guest tickets they need (paid), just like what we did for Katha. Please make sure to only comp ONE ticket for the students.

The TU Teachers/Accompanists also now have a coupon code, TUDC2013 for $2 off their tickets - they will mention this over the phone, and you can apply it like a normal coupon, or they will use it online.

THERE ARE TWO NEW SUE McLEAN EVENTS - Celtic Thunder and The Fresh Beat Band! Please review their EXTENSIVE info on the pages below!!

TICKETING HELP

- IF TICKET AGENT WILL NOT LOAD THE HOUSE MAP
Follow these instructions:

1 - Open Internet Explorer (It's probably IE 9)
2- Click on the cog wheel in the top right (Settings)
3 - Click on Internet Options (second from bottom in list)
4 - Go to "Advanced" tab
5 - Click on "Restore Advanced Settings," then click on "Reset
6 - Click "Apply" then "OK."

You will then have to close out of and restart Ticket Agent - it should work then!

- SCU/UMN/ACTC Students, Faculty/Staff, and Alumnae/Alumni may purchase
two tickets at the discounted rate, per order.
NO MORE THAN TWO.

**Please note: We do NOT offer SCU Fac/Staff/Students/Alum discounts online - those options are only available on the phone or at the door. If a customer complains about it, you can explain to them that by calling/stopping by, they're saving a money that would be spent on the convenience fee.

- Please remember to explain our fees to patrons: that includes our $5 handling fee, our $1.50 fee for Will Call, AND OUR $2 RESTORATION FEE! It just makes the call go smoother, and makes patrons more agreeable if they know for what they are being charged :)

-For events where SCU students get in FREE: PAYMENT TYPE SHOULD BE "COMPLIMENTARY," not CASH! This way, the handling and retoration fees are waived - the ticket type should still be SCU Student, just select complimentary for payment.

- Please always ask patrons if they have purchased tickets before, and search for them using the "Patron Search" link on the Payment Screen in TicketAgent. This will help reduce duplicate patron records, which will make your job EASIER in the long run.

RANDOM HELPFUL TIDBITS

- The "Visit Us" page on the external website has changed to having an interactive Google map. First direct patrons to that page on our website, where they click on "Directions" on top of the map, and get the info. If they don't have internet, you can click on directions, and pull up directions for them and read them off.

THERE ARE 23 STEPS TO THE BOTTOM OF THE BALCONY
AND 70 SEATS TO THE VERY TOP TIP TOP OF THE BALCONY.

- PLEASE REMEMBER TO TURN OFF THE NEON SIGN
AT THE END OF THE NIGHT!!!

- I have added an "Accessibility packet" for patron reference - print it out if they ask, or use it to direct them for parking. Find it here at the end of the "Please give them directions" section.

- When on the phone with patrons:
Be sure to speak up!
Use "Yes" instead of "Yup" or "Yeah."
Try to limit the use of "Umm" - substitute with
"Let me see" or "I'll find out," etc.

- A few random things that may new new/different:
1 - When putting tickets in envelopes: Include the tickets and the receipt, marked "Receipt." Keep the "signature" receipt and header (with their name and address) for your Fugglesbee Envelope. The "Receipt" slip goes in their envelope with the tickets.
