TU Dance
Description
Toni-Pierce Sands and Uri Sands’ TU Dance has become a Twin Cities favorite, presenting “a blend of intelligence and beauty, rigorous structure and inventive choreography, and integrity of performance so singularly wrought that the work rips your expectations from their moorings” (StarTribune). Join us in celebrating the connective power of dance, as TU Dance opens its seventh season with a new fall concert at the O’Shaughnessy. The program features two world premieres by choreographer Uri Sands: Workforce, a new piece for seven dancers, explores our reliance on the critical pulse of everyday occupations; and Work XLVII, a full-company piece investigating the artist's process as an act of worship. Also on the program are favorites from the company’s compelling repertory.
