Description
A double bill of classical dance and live music that the whole family is sure to enjoy. Kathak Yatra (the journey of Kathak dance) showcases classical Kathak dance of north India and Sundari Aur Nag is an Indian retelling of “Beauty and the Beast.” Sundari Aur Nag is a poignant collaboration with Ethnic Dance Theater that embraces Kathak dance, storytelling, and music. The entire sumptuous and mesmeric performance will feature Rita Mustaphi’s choreography, live music from world-renowned musicians from India and England, vibrant costumes, and handmade sets imported from India.
